Scope & Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how CleanerX (the “App”) handles information when you use our products and services. CleanerX is provided by APPZLAB LIMITED ("we", "our", or "us").
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not install or use the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

Data We Collect
1) Information you provide
- Account & communications (if you contact us): email address and message content.
- In‑App inputs: preferences you set (e.g., feature toggles, language).
2) Automatically collected
- Device & app info: device model, OS version, app version, settings, time zone, language, approximate location derived from IP.
- Identifiers: device identifiers (e.g., IDFV/IDFA where available and permitted), installation ID, and similar identifiers used for analytics, fraud prevention, and—if enabled—advertising.
- Usage & diagnostics: app interactions, screens viewed, feature usage, performance data, crash logs.
3) Payment & subscription metadata
Transactions are processed by Apple via in‑app purchase. We receive confirmation metadata (e.g., product, price tier, region, subscription status), but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How We Use Data
- Provide core functionality and requested features.
- Measure performance and improve stability and quality.
- Understand feature adoption to prioritize development.
- Communicate with you about the App, including support.
- Detect, prevent, or investigate security, abuse, or fraud incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
- Where permitted, personalize content or promotions.
On‑Device Processing (Photos, Contacts, Files)
Certain CleanerX features (for example, finding similar photos or detecting duplicate contacts) may request access to your device’s Photos or Contacts. Unless we clearly state otherwise in the App, these operations are performed on your device and the content itself is not uploaded to our servers. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings.
Cache files or temporary thumbnails created by iOS for performance may be stored on your device or in iCloud if you have iCloud backup enabled. We do not control your iCloud settings.
Payments & Subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple’s App Store using your Apple ID. Apple is responsible for processing payments. We receive non‑sensitive purchase metadata to deliver your entitlements. For help with billing issues, please refer to Apple Support.
Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the App and its features.
- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the App, prevent fraud, and understand usage. We balance these interests against your rights.
- Consent: where required by law (e.g., personalized advertising, access to certain device data). You can withdraw consent at any time in the App or device settings.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.
Your Rights
Your privacy rights depend on your location. Subject to exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of inaccurate or unnecessary data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability (receive data in a structured, commonly used format).

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, such as the right to know categories of data collected, sources, purposes, and disclosures. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA.

Retention & Security
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
If we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses where applicable) to protect your information in accordance with this Policy.
Advertising Choices
CleanerX may use identifiers for advertising if you opt in (e.g., via iOS App Tracking Transparency). You can control advertising permissions at any time in your device settings. Personalized ads may be disabled without affecting your ability to use the App.

- Apple Ads: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising (limit personalized ads).
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. In the EEA/UK, additional consent rules may apply to users under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
